Today we are checking out the Hestan grill. Now this grill is the top in luxury, and it features tons of great innovative new features. This is their 36 inch model hybrid, let's have a look inside. The Hestan features heavy duty diamond-laser cut stainless steel cooking grates. The grids are completely flat on both sides, allowing you to flip them over to the clean side when necessary. The extra wide grids mean more of the cooking surface area contacts the food you cook, which really means more great flavor from caramelization.Under the grids, you will find Hestan’s reversible stainless steel and ceramic briquette flame tamers. These flame tamers are a perfect mix of the durability of stainless steel, and the heat distribution that comes from ceramic briquettes. They cover the whole area over the burners, meaning they will catch drippings and turn them into smoke, leading to great fire grilled flavor. For easy cleaning, simply flip the tray over, and allow them to burn off. Beneath the flame tamers, you will find Hestan’s stainless steel conventional “Trellis” burners. The burners are lit with hot surface glowing ignition for dependability, and they are rated for 25,000 BTUS each. Hestan’s high performance ceramic infrared burner is perfect for searing steakhouse quality meals, and it is a variable temperature burner, allowing you to cook more delicate items to perfection. For delicious rotisserie cooking in your backyard, Hestan has a top mounted infrared rotisserie burner that can range from 12,500 to 18,000 BTUs. The rotisserie motor is chain driven, and concealed inside the grill. Their burners unique top mount allows this infrared burner to double as a broiler. Perfectly crisp the top of something like macaroni and cheese, by setting it on the warming rack under the rotisserie burner. The warming rack is made of thick heavy duty stainless steel just like the cooking grids, and can be used at 3 different levels for extra grill space, or conveniently stowed away at the back of the grill. The rotisserie rod can also be stowed away within the grill in this top notch. For ease of nighttime grilling, the grill lid features motion activated “stadium” interior top mounted lights that point down directly at the grill’s surface. The control knobs are accented with LED light, which looks great with Hestan’s textured Marquis stainless control panel. The spring assisted Horizon hood on Hestan is not only incredibly easy to open, it can balance on it’s own at any position, allowing for you to cook with the lid partially open if you choose to. The handle of the hood features the same sleek texture as the control panel for a unique look.Other nice features of the Hestan grill include a stainless steel smoker box , and a full width slide out drip pan for easy cleaning. And they even offer some models and configurations with various colors. Now We’ll perform the xrf test on the Hestan grill. The cooking grids, flame tamers, burners, firebox, control panel, and drip pan tested to be 304 stainless steel.

So we'll take a closer look at that because we get a lot of questions on that and hopefully we can answer those. To my far right we have Weber's original kettle, this is the original premium, and of course to my left we have weber's master touch kettle. We'll begin with the original....
