Hi, I’m Chef Tony Matassa, in this video we are checking out a super unique grill in the barbeque world, this is the Hasty Bake. It’s been made in the United States since 1948. This particular grill is for the person who likes to use charcoal, but wants that accuracy & control to where they can bake, steam, smoke, grill, sear, you name it, you can do it in this with charcoal, let’s have a look inside. The hasty bake gourmet grill features a spacious top rack that can be used as a warming rack, or additional room to smoke food. It slides out for easy removal when not needed. The cooking grids measure 21 inches deep by 34 inches wide, which is plenty of space to cook large batches of food when hosting a BBQ party. Because this is a charcoal grill, it is convenient to be able to easily lift one section of grids out of the way for easy addition of smoking woods, or more charcoal. Underneath the cooking grids you will find what makes the Cajun Grill a very versatile Barbecue. This is the adjustable 304 stainless steel charcoal basket. This can be easily set at any of these 7 notch positions depending on what you are cooking. I love how close I can get the charcoal to the cooking grids when I want to sear something like steak at high temperatures. These new york stri...
